Dear Friend
So often we are bombarded with advertisements that claim they have the best products, and how this product works better than another….
Well, I am here to tell you what you already knew – these claims are not always true. Everyone says their product is best. That’s natural; they want to sell you their product. They could hardly say “Well, our product is OK, but not the best.” No one would buy it.
So, to cut through the haze of false or misleading claims, let’s ask a few simple questions:
Q – What company created the very first (and still only) do-it-yourself Headlight Restorer with a Lifetime Warranty?
A – Crystal View Chemicals. We created a Patent Pending system to provide the industry’s only Permanent Restoration.
Q – What company makes a sealer specifically for Headlight Restoration to keep the lens restored for years to come?
A – Crystal View Chemicals. Other companies make great polishes. But when you restore a lens you have to remove the damaged plastic to expose the clean plastic underneath. This also removes the laminate the manufacturer put on to protect the lens from the sun and other environmental effects. If you do not reseal the lens, it will fade again very quickly.
Q – What company was the first to be accepted in National auto service centers as the exclusive Headlight Restorer?
A – Crystal View Chemicals. Without a sealer customers will be back in a couple of months complaining that their lenses have faded again. A business cannot afford the bad customer relations this would bring.
Q – What company outsells even the mega-brands everywhere they are side-by-side?
A – Crystal View Chemicals. Our product works best, and lasts longest. That’s why the employees of auto parts stores recommend ours over all others combined.
You cannot find another company, regardless of size, that can make these claims. We have been the industry standard for Headlight Restoration for more than 6-years. If we had 3M’s advertising budget, we would own the market. As it is, we rely on store sales associates recommending us, and word of mouth from our happy customers.

What happened to my headlights?
Since 1990, US auto manufacturers have been required to make their headlight lenses out of plastic. This serves several purposes; the lenses can now be made in more exotic shapes, the weight is much less, and there is no more glass strewn across the road from even small accidents.
One downside to plastic lenses is the fact that all plastic will become faded, hazy, yellow, and no longer project light at safe levels.
What causes this fading is heat and the environment. When you turn on your lenses, you heat the surface and open pores in the surface which accumulate dirt, and road grime. When you turn them off again the pores close sealing the contaminants in the lens. UV from the sun is also a prime factor. In the south, lenses turn yellow from all the sun they get. Up north, the salt and minerals used for snow and ice removal penetrate the plastic and turn the lenses gray.
That is why your lenses are fading. And you are not alone; one-third of the cars on the road have faded lenses. That’s more than 85-Million of the 250-Million autos in America today, and growing.

How do I fix it?
Once damage has penetrated into the lens itself, there is no way to restore them without removing the damaged plastic, and exposing the raw plastic underneath. You can use compounds, sandpaper, or even toothpaste, but the bad plastic must be removed in order to restore a clear appearance.
The problem with this is that polycarbonate plastic is not a durable material. The factory applies a laminate to the lens surface to protect it from the elements. When you restore a lens, you remove that laminate as well, and expose the plastic. Without the laminate to protect it, the lens will fade again very quickly. What took 3-4 years to fade the first time will go bad again within a few months.
It is not difficult to restore a lens. Just remove the damaged plastic, and polish the surface until clear again. The difficulty lies in keeping it clear. Only one headlight restorer has a sealer built from scratch specifically for headlight restoration. Crystal View Chemicals headlight restorer/defogger is engineered to replace the factory’s laminate and bond to the lens at the molecular level.
Virtually all our competitors simply remove the damage and polish the lens. Don’t get me wrong, they make great polishes, and do exactly what they say. They will restore your lenses for today… but what about next month? In the Sun Belt (Florida, Arizona, New Mexico, etc…) the typical polish-based restoration will last two-months before it begins to fade again. That is why Crystal View’s product is the only Do-It-Yourself Headlight Restorer on the market with a Lifetime Warranty.
If the others could offer that, they would. They don’t offer any warranty at all, because they know they cannot stand behind it.
For lasting protection, there is no other choice. Try Crystal View Chemicals Headlight Restorer / Defogger today.
