Wipe off the polishing compound using a moist cloth. Now clean the other portion of the lens in a similar way. It will take less than an hour to clean both headlight lenses.

The worst thing to use to clean a foggy or dim headlight is toothpaste. Number one, it is a painstakingly long process to achieve minimal results. And you will end up doing the same process over and over again as this method is extremely temporary and does provide you with very good results.

If you want even greater clarity, take a portable hand buffer and buff the headlight properly using the chemicals provided. The buffer can do buffing faster than doing by hand. Wash the head light with warm water to clean it completely. Now, dry it using a lint-free cotton cloth.

How to remove condensation from headlights?

If there is any condensation inside the lights, you have to remove the condensation. Drill a small hole about 1 mm diameter in one corner on the bottom of the lens to remove condensation. Fresh air will go inside and void out the condensation and fogginess.

Clean the other headlight in a similar way. Apply some car wax on the headlights and buff them.

CRYSTAL VIEW headlight lens restorer is the best new product I have ever used… period!   I have a ’95 Mercury Tracer in otherwise excellent condition, but the headlight lenses had become so yellowed and dull that it was actually dangerous to drive it at  night.  After trying polishing compound with almost no improvement, I then found out that replacement lenses would be over $325 for a 13 y.o. car!  So, with “nothing to lose”, I tried your product.  My lenses were in really bad shape, but, working carefully, the whole process still took less than 30 min. and $20.  The lenses are now not only looking ‘brand new’, but the improvement in light output is astounding!   I had no idea of how little I could see when driving at night before I used your CV Headlight Restorer.  Very possibly the best few dollars I ever spent.
